As a junior golfer, I looked up to heroes like Faldo, Seve, Norman and Tiger. One thing I always loved was seeing their names proudly displayed on their golf bags.

 

Like many young golfers, I dreamed of having my own name on a bag one day.

The closest I could get was carrying the same brands as my heroes and, in doing so, helping to advertise their brands around the golf course like many do today.

Years later, I started to question why the biggest space on a golf bag is almost always reserved for the brand, rather than the golfer carrying it.

That's why I created Richy Ryder Golf.
